SEO - Search Engine Opimization

SEO is the acronym for Search Engine Optimization. This is the process of creating web page content that will rank high in search engine results. We do this by tweaking HTML codes and elements of websites to make them more detectable in search engine results. It also helps divert traffic toward your page. SEO aims to bring higher rate of returns for the business continuity and growth. After all, visibility in the World Wide Web is a popular and effective way to increase profits. As a result, there have been many ways of optimizing a web page. One method involves keywords and keyphrases that describe a web site's content.

We consider keywords to be one the most important elements because those keywords are used to match against search strings. This may seem easy at first but determining what keywords to use is a dizzying process. It requires careful research so you don't end up with keywords that are too common. If they're too common, your web page will not stand out among your competitors. At the same time, they can't be too rare because people may not even think of those keywords at all.

SEO is not just about putting the necessary keywords in your website. A keyword-rich website will return big profits but an overstuffed website will be repulsive to visitors. The ideal keyword density should matter a lot. It measures the relevance of a web page. Generally speaking, web pages with higher keywords densities are more relevant in search engines. However, overstuffing content with keywords will look very artificial. Worse, you can be penalized by search engines for keyword stuffing. The ideal keyword density for major keywords is around 3% to 7%. Meanwhile, minor keywords should be limited to 1% to 2%. Make sure you strategically place your keywords to produce a smooth-flowing article.
